HUNT FOR NITROGEN SPACE
Share
The nitrogen problem has the Netherlands firmly in its grip; however, when thinking about the hunt for nitrogen space, festivals may not immediately come to mind. Yet nitrogen is indeed a topic that organizers have to worry about when they want to let partygoers loose near vulnerable nature.
In a recent article by RTL Nieuws, the example of Down The Rabbit Hole was cited; it bought nitrogen space from a local livestock farmer to allow the festival in Beuningen to go ahead.
The province of Gelderland pointed out to festivals last year that in many cases they nature permit need. Visitors who come to a site by car emit nitrogen. The generators that provide electricity on a site also do.
You don't want to think about cancelling your event because of too much nitrogen emission? With our Festiplant products you can harvest CO2-neutral energy, which is sustainable!
